The woman that was taken into Police custody after a Carencro pursuit has still not been identified.

Police Chief David Anderson says that the investigation is ongoing and her identity has not been confirmed. The woman who crashed into a camper at Primeaux RV after a police pursuit remains in the hospital as of Friday.

Police say an officer was working northbound traffic on I-49 when he was alerted to a stolen vehicle. A pursuit ensued and ended at exit 7 where the vehicle crashed.

Anderson says the woman who was driving the vehicle had 15 possibly fake IDs. Other stolen items were also allegedly found in that vehicle.

Anderson told KATC last night that the driver would be booked with multiple traffic violations and theft.
