LUS Fiber announced on Tuesday that it is expanding its services to the City of Carencro.
The announcement comes on the heels of the telecommunication system’s expansion to the cities of Youngsville and Broussard in 2018. The expansion to Carencro will include Internet, television, and phone services.
Interim Director of LUS Fiber, Teles Fremin says that Carencro residents have expressed interest in the past to have the service in the city.
LUS Fiber says that the neighborhood of Oak Cove and the Downtown area will be the first to receive services. Other city residents are expected to be connected before the summer.
