Celebrate Celtic heritage and culture at the Celtic Bayou Festival.

The two-day event is highlighting music, dance, history, language and art that is native to Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Brittany.

The festival is going on until 10 p.m. at Warehouse 535.

There are three music stages, whiskey tasting, dancing, craft and food vendors, an authentic Irish pub built by Irish staff, and a kids’ tent.

Earlier in the day, there was a Guinness Cook-Off where teams competed in making a savory dish, using Guinness as one of the ingredients.

Before the festival started at noon, revelers paraded down Jefferson Street for the Green Mile Pub Crawl.

The festivities started yesterday with a crawfish boil where guests enjoyed Irish entertainment.
