Lafayette Police have released information on last night’s homicide investigation at a Lafayette apartment complex.
Police say they responded to a call of shots fired at the Grand Pointe Apartment complex in the 3600 block of Kaliste Saloom Road at 10:00 pm Wednesday night.
When they arrived, police say they located an 18-year-old white male victim in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
A spokesperson with the department says that at this time there are no suspects in custody. An investigation is ongoing.
