Vitalant, formerly United Blood Services, will hold a St. Patrick’s Day blood drive on Saturday, March 16.
Donors can visit Vitalant’s Lafayette donation center on Bertrand Drive or one of the organizations mobile units to donate. Participants will receive “bonus points” to redeem a free “Save the Humans” water bottle and a $25 Amazon.com gift card.
Appointments can be made by going to vitalant.org or by calling 887-25VITAL.
Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 and 17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
