LCG’s Department of Public Works Transit Division is reminding riders that buses will not run on Mardi Gras.
Officials say that due to the official Mardi Gras holiday on March 5, 2019, Lafayette Transit System (LTS) will not provide service. This includes Daytime, Night Owl, and Para-transit.
Para-transit service approved riders will still be able to schedule rides.
The Transit Business Offices will also be closed on March 5 in observance of the Mardi Gras holiday. Regularly scheduled transit services will resume on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
