Nineteen students qualified for the 2019 National Tournament to be held this year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Three of those students making the trip will be returning Nationals Champions, according to speech coach Jacob Simon.

Simon says that Grand Nationals is one of the largest Academic Competitions in the country. The Comeaux speech team has successfully placed within the Top 5 for the past four years, winning Speech School of Excellence Sweepstakes awards the last two years.

Over 1200 high school teams attend Grand Nationals each year. To qualify students must place in the Top 5 in their NCFL District Tournament event.
