A well-known Louisiana company is adding their touch to the carnival season this year.

In commemoration of their 70th Anniversary, Butcher Air Conditioning announced their collector’s edition Mardi Gras Beads.

The beads will feature the iconic red and white Buther 1951 Ford and will be thrown only at the Le Festival de Mardi Gras a’ Lafayette Soundstage at Cajun Field.

In the spirit of the Mardi Gras season, we wanted to mark our 70 years of business in Acadiana with a special memento for our clients, customers and Mardi Gras revelers,” said Bobby Butcher.

The beads were created with the help of Bead Busters & Float Rentals in Youngsville.

Butcher Air Conditioning is a co-sponsor of the Le Festival de Mardi Gras a’ Lafayette Cajun Field soundstage. They say the assistance to the festival helps keep concerts free along with additional event security and parade barricades.

“As a participant in Lafayette’s Mardi Gras season each year, I’m excited to be able to offer this special token of appreciation to lucky Acadiana revelers this year at the Cajun Field Soundstage.  And who knows, if this year’s beads become the ‘Coolest Beads of the Season’, maybe we’ll continue to offer other versions in years to follow,” said Bobby Butcher.
