The Attorney General has issued an opinion on Lafayette School Board Member Jeremy Hidalgo’s new job with the city of Broussard.
In the opinion, the AG writes that Hidalgo can work as an employee of Broussard while serving as a school board member – and also as a city-parish council member, since he told the AG he plans to run for that post next.
