A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday for Jack Charles Doucet Sr., who died Wednesday.

Doucet, 90, worked for Superior Oil, but probably was best known as the co-owner of Doucet’s Grocery Store in Butte LaRose. When he was a child and young man, he worked at his family’s store, Doucet’s Meat Market in Lafayette.
The Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday.
