This morning some Acadiana students got to see a performance by a world-renowned dance troupe.

The students attended a performance of the Ailey II dancers today at the Heymann Center.

“It’s to give kids the cultural enrichment they are so lacking today. It’s what builds better citizens and it’s what builds better humans,” said Jackie Lyle, Creative Director, Upstage Inc.

The troupe will be in Lafayette today and tomorrow, with more events planned. To see the schedule, scroll down.
