Talented choir students in Lafayette Parish are showcasing their skills.
Today, the Lafayette Vocal Music Teachers Association hosted their honor choir concert at L. J. Alleman Middle School.
The honor choir is made up of 5th-8th grade students in Lafayette Parish.
Teachers of the 5th and 6th grade choirs each select five students to represent their schools in the concert. Seventh and 8th grade students must audition to be in the concert.
Two guest conductors from Monroe and Mississippi were there to assist the students with the performance.
