Lafayette firefighters say that a house is a complete loss after a fire on Resha Road Wednesday.
According to a spokesman with the fire department, the house off of St. Claire Road was completely engulfed when firefighters arrived. Firefighters have since put out that fire.

It was reported earlier that one person received minor injuries. Firefighters have clarified that no one was injured or required medical attention.
The home received major fire damage and is a complete loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
