LAFAYETTE – Hundreds of students from across Acadiana were at the Cajundome Convention Center today for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District Conference.
The students competed in more than 60 events for the right to represent their schools at the state conference in March.
“You compete in different various events by taking tests or giving presentations to judges. The top four, or five, or six will advance to the state competition,” said Louisiana FBLA State Officer Kahleel Howard.
State Officer Gabrielle Fontenot explains the next step.
“We rank it with excellent, superior, and first place. And, superior and first place go on to state.”
