Scott Police have arrested a Morgan City man in connection with a Heidi Circle burglary.
Terrell Poole, 29, of Morgan City was booked with Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Obstruction of Justice, and Flight from an Officer. No bond has been set at this time.

Police were called to a home today because the burglar alarm had been activated. When officers arrived, they found the back door had been kicked in.
During their investigation, officers found witnesses who described a person who was in the area at the time. Officers searched the area, and found a man matching the description on Brothers Road. When they tried to talk to him, he ran away.
Scott officers began to chase him, and Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s deputies assisted, and they found him after a short time. The man allegedly was still holding some of the items that had been stolen from the home. He was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish jail.
