There’s a line-up of live bands playing tonight at Dat Dog, but before they hit the stage some young locals did.
On The Up And Up, a showcase for young musicians, started at 5 p.m. It was a chance for local musicians to perform onstage at a local venue.
The opportunity was offered by Portland Cloud Trial, a local artist management and multi-media company.
“Tonight we are having On the Up and Up which is an event that Portland Cloud Trial got together on Acadiana talent with to make it happen, and its going to be kind of showcasing some local talent,” said Matt Delcambre of PCT. “Some really great local talent from young ages are going to be playing all the way to some more established bands that are going to be playing later on tonight.”
