Lafayette Police have identified the suspect they say is responsible for the fatal shooting at the Super 7 Inn.
27-year-old Nicholas Hebert of Lafayette has an active warrant for second degree murder. Hebert is considered armed and dangerous.
That shooting occurred January 3, 2019 at a local hotel in the 2100 block of the NW Evangeline Thruway. The victim in that shooting has been identified as 48-year-old Frederick Richardson of Baton Rouge.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Hebert is urged to call Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
