A Lafayette teen was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornagraphy.
Thomas Lee King, 18, was arrested for nine counts of pornography involving juveniles. On Dec. 20, agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Robin Hood Road in Dry Prong, Louisiana in reference to child porn on a Dropbox account. During the investigation and prior to the search warrant, agents observed four videos of child pornography which were included in the cyber tip sent by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to an arrest affidavit.
Agents were informed that the suspect, Thomas Lee King, was now living in Lafayette. King was located and allegedly admitted to looking at and downloading the child pornography.
Agents conducted a forensic preview of the suspect’s Samsung tablet device and located nine images of a juvenile. King admitted he shared the photo via the Kik application of a female friend who was at the time the images were produced 15-years-old.
