Southern Tea magazine and 7 Stitches boutique hosted a Christmas Pajama and Polar Express Party today.
The event, held at the Clifton Chenier Auditorium, was free and open to the public.
Children were able to take their picture with Santa, visit with Mrs. Claus and the elves, and have some pancakes, hot cocoa and cookies. Then, they all settled in for a showing of the Polar Express movie.
“What we’re doing here today is a Christmas party with Santa, pajamas and pancakes with Santa,” said Brandon Green, owner of the 7 Stitches boutique. “It’s just something we wanted to do to give back to the community, something to the northside of Lafayette. Something from Southern Tea and myself, just something from the bottom of our hearts for Christmas.”
