Friday, law enforcement in Scott and Duson dropped off toys to children in the community.
Scott Police Chief Chad Leger, Duson Police Chief Kip Judice and State Farm Agent Brian Schlesinger collected toy donations throughout the fall in anticipation for this Christmas season.
Today, the gifts were handed out to those children and families in need.
Bicycles and gifts were donated by several area businesses in an effort to make sure that all children were able to receive gifts this year.
