A battle of biblical proportions happened Tuesday night in downtown Lafayette.
Local priests and seminarians duked it out on the court during their 13th annual basketball game at Cathedral Carmel.
The Knights of Columbus put on the event to raise funds to cover seminarians’ education expenses.
“The Knights of Columbus has always been in support of its priests and seminarians. This occasion is no different. We love putting on this basketball game. It’s an exciting event. It’s a very competitive event,” said diocesan administrator John Frugé.
