LAFAYETTE PARISH – Animal Aid for Vermilion Area contacted us about a picture of a dog shot dead with an arrow.
According to a spokesperson for the Vermilion Parish animal rescue organization, the dog was found earlier today on Androcles Road right before its intersection with Sabine Drive.
We reached out to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, and they couldn’t confirm whether or not they were notified about the incident.
