Thirty-four new officers are ready to protect and serve Acadiana after months of training.
The class of 158 graduated from the Acadiana Law Enforcement Training Academy today.
They will go on to serve 10 departments across the region.
One officer says determination helped him push through the program.
“You gotta have the right attitude, man. If you want it, you gotta be hungry. You know, it’s up to you. Don’t give up, keep going for it.”
