A company selling meat pies in Lafayette held a ribbon Thursday as part of their grand opening.
DREAMS Manufacturing Company which sells meat pie to parish jails in Louisiana employs individuals with special needs.
They hope to expand to selling to grocery stores and even opening a Cafe .
DREAMS currently employees 21 special needs individuals.
The D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana is a special needs non-profit organization, started in 2007 to help individuals with special needs, their families and to educate the public.
