The Lemoine Company is once again working to help troops stationed overseas this holiday season.
Tonight, the company held Operation Treats for Troops in Lafayette where employees helped put together care packages for area service members.
The packages include snacks, entertainment, personal care items and Christmas cards made by students.
“Our men and women at Lemoine have been doing this for 11 years now with support from community vendors. And, last year, for instance, we sent out over 600 packages to people serving abroad, and this year, the team is working really hard to exceed that goal,” said CEO Lenny Lemoine.
