The Scott Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with a home burglary in November.

Police say they responded to a residential burglary at a mobile home community in the 1100 block of Lebesque Rd on November 18, 2018.

Witnesses told officers that they heard loud banging at the victim’s residence around midnight. A young man wearing a dark colored hoodie was seen on the victim’s doorbell camera, allegedly kicking in the front door of the residence.

Scott Police say the suspect made his way into the residence and left with a flat screen television and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was able to provide Scott Police Department video footage of the suspect breaking into the
residence.

If you are able to help identify this subject, please contact Scott Police Department at 337-233-3715 or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 337-232-TIPS (8477). All callers can remain anonymous.
