25th Festival of Lights brightens up the holidays in Lafayette

The Oil Center’s Festival of Lights is brightening up the holidays this Friday in Lafayette.

The event will feature lighted displays, photos with Santa, live entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides, live ice sculpting, letter writing to Santa, face painting, carnival games, a Sneaux Zone, food and beverages from local vendors, and more.

The festival is in its 25th year.

Admission to Friday’s festival is free to the public, but family packs are available for purchase. Festival packs include tickets for purchasable items such as food and beverages.

Tickets are also used for the following features:

Sneaux Zone (snow playland)
Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride
Photos with Belle and Jedi characters
Photos with Rudolph and Mrs. Claus
Carnival Games
Face Painting
Teddy Bear Mobile Acadiana
Food and Beverages
