A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday for Samuel Paul Guibeaux, 71, who died Saturday.
Guilbeaux was the owner of Southside Bakery for almost 50 years “where he had the honor of helping countless people celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, first communions, and graduations,” his obituary states. “He had the privilege of working those many years with Gerry and his children and engaging in conversation with patrons of the bakery.”
He is survived by his wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren and brother.
Visitation will be observed at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
