Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Dean Domingues Compost Facility located at 400 Dugas Road (off North University Avenue) will be closed on Tuesday, November 20 and possibly Wednesday, November 21 for asphalt work being done at the facility.
The facility will not be giving out or taking in any composting material while this asphalt work is being done.
The facility will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving in observance of the holiday.
Weather permitting the completion of the asphalt work, the facility is expected to reopen on Monday, November 26 at 7 a.m.
