November is Adoption Awareness Month and Foster Friends hosted an activity for the foster children in Acadiana who are available for adoption today.
The event was held at the Lafayette Children’s Museum, and about 20 children attended.
The aim was to promote awareness for these children who are looking for a forever home.
The children wrote poems and drew pictures about what adoption means to them, among other activities.
