People’s Health and Second Harvest Food Bank hosted a Thanksgiving meal for seniors.
The dinner, organizers say is their effort to give back this holiday season, feeding both “the body and the need for social engagement.”
Holiday Meals for Seniors program from Second Harvest provides 6,000 traditional holiday meals to local seniors in need, a release states.
Tuesday’s meal was held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the George Dupius Recreation Center in Lafayette.
