A group against circumcising children are in Lafayette as part of their Gulf Coast tour.

The group Bloodstained Men & Their Friends held signs at the corner of West Congress Street and Bertrand Drive with messages like “Circumcision is medical fraud” and “His body his choice.”

Lafayette is their second-to-last stop on their 22-day tour, spanning over 20 cities.  The group will head to Hoston tomorrow.

According to the group’s senior advisor and director, Erika Talvitie, Bloodstained Men & Their Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes peaceful protests.

They believe someone who cannot consent, like a child, should not be circumcised.
