Saturday’s UL game against Georgia State will be played in honor of the U.S. military.
There will be a pregame flyover from Louisiana National Guard and some fireworks at halftime.
This will be a blackout game and the team is looking forward to celebrating the armed forces ahead of Veterans Day.
“It’s an excellent opportunity for our program and for our athletic department to recognize what veterans have done for our country, and what those actively serving are still doing for all of us here in Acadiana and the state of Louisiana as a whole,” Patrick Crawford, UL Athletics.
