Downtown Alive celebrates 35th anniversary

Downtown Alive is celebrating its 35th anniversary Friday evening in Parc International.

The 35 ALIVE! Extravaganza will feature 20 musicians in the Acadiana music scene, including TK Hulin, Wayne Toups, Michael Doucet, Chubby Carrier, Sonny Landreth, Ward Lormand, Charlene Howard, Mike Burchand.

DTA! Happiest Hour at 5:00 p.m. at Parc International. Drinks will be $5.

The doors of the Children’s Museum of Acadiana will be open free-of-charge for DTA! Kids, starting at 5:30 PM. Other family-friendly entertainment includes MLR Magic showcasing their animal character balloons and face-painting.

DTA! Manger food scene will feature Landry Brothers Catering and Fezzo’s Seafood.

Attendees are asked to leave ice chests at home.
