Project Front Yard hosted its third summit today at the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA).
The event brought businesses, civic organizations and individuals together to address community beautification and encourage volunteerism.
It’s part of PlanLafayette Week, which focuses on the city’s comprehensive plan.
“Project Front Yard was created about five years ago, so we’re celebrating five years of Project Front Yard. And basically, what Project Front Yard does is we work with individuals and businesses and organizations here locally in our community, and we activate them, and we empower them to take more ownership of Lafayette,” said Skyra Rideaux.
