LAFAYETTE – Families and caretakers are learning about their health while also celebrating Halloween, thanks to two Louisiana organizations.
Tonight, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana and Families Helping Families hosted the first “It takes a Village” Spooktacular Event at none other than LARC’s Acadian Village.
The event was open to the public, and those who attended had the opportunity to receive free health screenings.
In celebration of Halloween, kids and adults dressed up in costumes and went trick-or-treating around the village.
There was also face painting and a costume contest.
If you didn’t get your fill on candy, hot dogs and chips were also served.
