Homecoming week at UL continues with an annual Ragin’ Cajun tradition.

Students “yelled like hell” at the student union Thursday evening.

The homecoming king and queen say they’re happy to see their fellow students show their support for the university and its football team.

“Everybody comes together. The football team comes together. Other athletes come out. The Greeks come out. All the students come together,” said UL 2018 Homecoming King Dominique Williams.

It’s also the first time the homecoming court comes out, and it’s to the students. There’s nothing more perfect than being with what makes this university what it is,” added Rachel Lautigar, UL 2018 Homecoming Queen.

Attendees also enjoyed music played by the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band, and a DJ. Members of the football team, the Homecoming Court, cheerleaders, and the Ragin’ Jazz dance team attended.
