After a main line broke, some customers of the Lafayette Water District South are under a boil order.
Because pressure was lost during the break and subsequent repair, a precautionary boil order was issued for some of the district’s customers. The order will stand while state officials test the water to be sure it is safe for consumption.
The affected customers, estimated to be about 60 homes, live on the following streets:
- Chamberlain Road
- Burbank Road
- Casper Road
- Calcutta Road
- Blackbird Road
- McCall Road
- Golden Grain Road addresses from 2829 to 3665
