The Institute of Breast Health is raising awareness about breast cancer this month.
Physicians attended the organization’s annual symposium today to provide information about the disease and to encourage women to schedule mammograms.
Later tonight they’ll be celebrating survivors who will be modeling during a fashion show.
“It’s a special event where we celebrate survivorship and we share that there’s hope for survivors and for breast cancer. So it’s just exciting.”
