Authorities are on the scene of a four-vehicle accident along the I-49 South between Gloria Switch and Butcher Switch in Carencro.
An 18-wheeler and three SUV’s were involved in the crash. Police say that one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Traffic along I-49 South heading into Lafayette is down to one lane in the area and traffic is beginning to build up.
