The Disabled American Veterans Office stopped in Lafayette to help area veterans and their families.
Representatives went over specific benefits and services offered available to them, and how they can apply.
The Mobile Service Office is set up to help veterans across the country get help from the VA and other government agencies.
“We work with the veterans every day and like I said, it’s a job we really enjoy doing and it’s a passion,” said John Mercer State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans. “So we really love doing what we do.”
