A Lafayette Police Officer is being thanked for helping a woman mow her lawn on Tuesday.
A Facebook post shared by George and Cheri Roane captured a moment as the officer went above and beyond his work duties to help the woman finish her yard work.
The neighbors praise the officer, identified in the post as Jacob Courville, for stopping to lend a hand while still in his uniform during the day’s heat.
