Scott Firefighters are working a fire on Cameron Street this morning.
Chief Chad Sonnier says firefighters were called to a home in the 6900 block of Cameron shortly before 10 a.m. Monday. They found a manufactured home on fire. The homeowner smelled smoke and was able to get out, along with his two dogs.

The fire was brought under control quickly, but it’s still a total loss, the chief said.
As a result of the amount of damage, investigators were unable to determine the exact cause of the fire. However, it is believed to be accidental.
No firefighters were injured as a result of the incident.
