Crews are moving forward with renovations at the Lafayette Regional Airport.
Today, the Lemoine Company started removing Hangar nine, a utility building and a tower.
this is the first step toward the airport’s new terminal building expected to open in 20-22.
“This right now for the construction demo is January 2019 to be complete, Steven Picou, Executive Director, Lafayette Regional Airport. “Simultaneously we’ll be working on a construction project to do groundbreaking foundation work and to be done sometime in November.”
