No one hit the $80,000,000 Powerball drawing last night, but one ticket sold in Lafayette is worth $50,000.
The $50,000 ticket matched four numbers plus the Power Ball and was sold at USA Food Express on Moss Street in Lafayette, according to lottery officials said Monday.

There are still two big jackpots that have gone unclaimed in Louisiana. Someone is holding a ticket bought in Metairie worth $1.8 million dollars following the June drawing; a $1 million dollar ticket from New Orleans has also not been claimed following the drawing on August 25.
