The victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in LafayetteTuesday night has been identified.
On August 28, 2018, at 8:30 pm, Lafayette police responded to a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on E. Verot School Road near Industrial Pkwy.
The operator of the motorcycle, Aaron Lee Savell, 45, of Lafayette, died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
Police say the second driver suffered minor injuries and was not found to be impaired.
The circumstances of the crash are currently under investigation.
