The Lafayette Police Department says they are investigating a shooting that injured one person in the 100 block of Hebert Road on Tuesday night.
Police say an investigation began after they received a report of a victim with non-fatal gunshot wounds being treated at a local hospital.
The victim told police that they were shot during an altercation at a mobile home community on Hebert Road.
Police say the victim is in stable condition. The case is currently under investigation.
