Ronrika Ben, who police say escaped custody at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on August 17, is back in jail tonight.
Deputies say Ben turned himself in Saturday night at 6:30.
He was initially booked on June 20, 2018, on several charges, including domestic abuse battery, violation of protection orders, theft, aggravated criminal damage to property and other charges.
Heallegedly escaped as he was being returned to LPCC from a nearby medical facility.
