Governor John Bel Edwards will be in Lafayette today to meet with local business leaders and officials at South Louisiana Community College.
The governor is hosting a roundtable meeting to discuss the outcomes of the recent legislative session and the state’s economy.
The meeting is a part of several regional meetings that the governor has been hosting throughout Louisiana. The meetings, according to the governor’s office, are a continuation of conversations held with business and leaders in 2017.
The meeting will begin at 2:30 pm.
