An RV that was being repaired caught on fire Sunday.
Scott Firefighters were called to the 400 block of Highway 93 at about 1 p.m. Sunday, Chief Chad Sonnier said.
They found heavy smoke coming from the engine compartment of an RV, the chief said.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
A mechanic was working on the camper, went to get some items he needed, and when he returned the RV was on fire, the chief said.
The mechanic received minor burns to his arm, however refused medical attention.
RV was a total loss and no firefighters were injured as a result of the incident.
